Over 15 years producing and supplying uniforms
VDG has been producing and supplying uniforms for a wide range of clients in New Zealand. We have sourced and supplied uniform items for companies that on-sell to school uniform shops and resellers, such as The Uniform Shop and New Zealand Uniforms. While school and sporting apparel form an important part of our work, we also supply corporate and commercial clothing, as well as merchandising, to large organisations including Mainfreight (internationally), Toll Group, Bidfood, Placemakers, ITM, and Fonterra.
Our team has a combined industry experience of over 50 years. VDG Global was founded in 2017 by Laurence Hullena, following the sale of his shareholding in Sports Resources NZ LTD, where he was Head of Sales, Marketing, and International Sourcing. His experience spans all aspects of apparel manufacturing and branding, including domestic textile sourcing and international factory development in Pakistan, India, and later China for Mantex International (Manchester Textiles UK). This background has equipped him with in-depth expertise in fabric construction, yarn and fibre properties, and garment manufacturing processes.

VDG Global currently has working partnerships with Scots College, Diocesan Girls Auckland, Baradene College, St Cuthberts and Saint Kentigern College.
We wish only to partner with a specific sector of schools on a direct basis.
Whilst we are looking to partner with these select schools, we do supply additional schools around New Zealand with sports and uniform apparel via wholesalers and on-sellers .
